Product Launch In Kenya

We’ve all been to or heard about a product launch event. You know, those events where a company/brand is launching a new product/service and in style. That part, ‘Style’ isn’t that easy to achieve as it may sound. This type of event is one of the most if not the trickiest event to execute.

So how would you go about planning a successful product launch event? Easy!

Create suspense:

This helps create good buzz around your upcoming product as opposed to giving out everything about the new product. We all know secrecy builds excitement, and a feeling to want to know more and this doesn’t only apply to product launching only *wink*The best way to achieve this is through Social Media, where if used appropriately (of course at a budget) and the right people (friends and influencers) could go a long way in creating the much needed hype in turn ensuring you achieve a successful launch.

The actual event:

Once you’ve created hype for the new product, it’s time to plan the location of the party and invite your guests. Ensure the theme of the event matches the product; one way is how brands usually get those flawless beauties that are models who even make ladies question their sexuality. Just kidding! Or am i? Having a big event will attract attention of say The Media who will go a long way in creating awareness of your new product; also, it presents a feeling of seriousness. All big successful brands go big, why not you? After all, this is marketing.

Lighten up, it’s never that serious:

You could have managed to pull off planning that hell of an event, gone the extra mile and even managed to get ‘big names’ to attend the event, then you forget another important factor, bringing the event to life. Don’t hire those uncles who MC at weddings to be the one to entertain your guests, instead, get a real crowd pleaser, one that will engage your guests, one that will make them laugh, like they say, laughter goes a long way, this scenario here being sales.

Focus more on the people:

Remember, as much as it is about the product, it also has just as much to do with the people who are present. One shouldn’t go on and on and on about the product instead, focus on the intended use, relate with your group and let them know why they need your product/service and how it will change their livelihood.

These are just some of the things that matter a lot and would go a long way in ensuring that your product launch event is successful. Good luck planning yours!
